Jacks dad some new thoughts

i got thinking today when i was bored at work that maybe Jack's dad never died, this seems obvious because of the Flash-forward, when jack told the other doctor to bring his dad down to see which one of them was drunker, and then theres the lack of a body in the coffin.

i have toyed with the theory that when they went back to the real world, they had some how gone back to the past, so jack's dad was still alive and kate was still married etc..

however what if jacks dad had never died, and his so called dissapearance to Australia was all part of the plan to get certain people oin the plane, this is working on the theory that all the people had purposly been brought to the island. jacks dad seems resposible for ana lucia getting on the plane, and he also encountered Sawyer in that trip just before his "death" and as for jack, he knew getting him on that plane to get to the island was going to be more difficult, and only his death would do that. i also think that maybe jack's mom was in on it aswell, she seemed so insistant that jack go to australia to bring his father back instead of just waiting 4 him to come back like had been done before..

I reckon the Magic Box thing will hold the explanation for the people coming back to life. Adn yeah, I think Christian Shepard is alive in the future.

im not too sure about the magic box, remeber it was lockes dad who mentioned the magic box 1st and hes a con man so how can we know he was telling the truth......

also as human beings we tend to over complicate things we dont understand and its usually the simplest answer which we need, so with this i took it back to basics and thought the simplest answer to why jacks dad was alive in the future. and this is of course that he never died

Would have replied sooner but have been busy with newborn baby!
Anyway, I believe that Christian Shepard is alive too but not because of the conspiracy to get them on the island - the Others seemed genuinely shocked to see the plane about to crash. I think its the work of Jacob/the Island's powers - it brought Christian back to life just like it keeps bringing Mikhail back to life. Speaking of whom, I'd not be suprised if they show him crawling out of the ocean after the explosion.
