"Others" and "Other Others"

I am now of the opinion that there are definately two groups of others. Here are the facts.

We know that several children were taken from the tailsection, and yet the others have no children anywhere around. I would say that there is a second group of others, that being the group who took the children from the tailsection.

Nathan - Maybe he was actually an other, just not the kind that we are thinking about. He did disappear for 2 hours without a good explanation, and i found it odd that he didn't try and defend himself from ana. Also, why would goodwin kill him? If Goodwin is a "good person", why would he kill someone unless they were rivals of sorts?

The name "the hostiles" has been used several times. This may be just another name for the others, but for some reason it struck me as odd to have these different names.

i know my evidence isn't really solid at this point, but be sure that i will be back with more convincing (i hope) stuff.

they could be dressing up as the other others..

true, but we know that the others don't actually dress that way. It was all for show.

But it seems that Ben's Others aren't adverse to taking children either, case in point: Alex Rousseau.

that's the thing though, is everything is so vague... maybe the others really didn't take alex as a child. We don't actually know how she got where she is, all we have is danielle's account which, imo, may not be correct.

i can't really trust danielle at this point - her story doesn't add up. Has the island mapped but never found the others camp or a single hatch in 16 years?

Maybe there really are two groups of Others. I heard somewhere that there are actually two islands with the Others' commune on a separate isle, this would mean that there are another group (Hostiles) on the current isle - the wild ones that Jin & Eko saw. Ben's Others dress up like the Hostiles when they come over because tattered rags are the new In thing this fall season.

But then, from the Opening scenes this season we see that it is actually the same island - or maybe two islands in close proximity... but that doesn't make that much sense, whoever traverses the island would have spotted the other one...

There better be a good explanation, coz it's starting to look a bit iffy.

Actually the only person who has claimed to have mapped out the island is Danielle, none of the Losties have done it - Sayid got captured before he could do it. The island looks Huge...

Either Danielle is a forward scout for the Others pretending to be insane or they manage to keep her running in circles and away from the other half of the island via some device - spooky whispering voices or black smoky monsters (whatever happened to that?).

I guess the thing that's keeping Danielle from the Others is a stretch of water. Howcum she never mentioned that to Sayid? I guess it's on account of her being mad and all....
