Healing powers of the island!

Has anybody noticed that the good people healed faster like we all know-rose and locke where "healed" faster.

But sywer did not. when he got shot and stabbed he was always need pain killers from jack and never healed as fast.

What do peole thik about the healing powers of the Island?

I think that Locke's sickness is mental. I think he had a break down due to his GF leaving him, and his Dad deceiving him.

Rose had some kind of cancer, and it was incurable.

Sawyer's wound wasn't life threatening, and eventually healed with conventional medecine.

he definatley did heal fast. When you think about a realistic amount of time it should take that knife wound to heal... it was a vein for crying out loud. It should have needed major stitches, which would have to stay in for 2 weeks or so, and after that it would be incredibly week. Yet just a short time later he is doing physical labor.

and what about henry? he healed pretty darn fast. An arrow went straight through him. But he is perfectly fine after a few days.

the healing may come from the EMP. Magnetics can sometimes be used to help cure things such as headaches and i believe arthritis. So perhaps if the station is shut down and the magnet can't be controlled, they will lose the healing power.

i remember the island also healed jin...he couldn't have childern the sun got pregnent

yeah well thats what we presume.... but yeh sun was 3 months pregnant when we found out so she had 2 av got pregnant off the island

I thought Jack talked about a false negative in the first week, but that's just me. Don't forget Locke healed pretty quickly. I'm still thinking Sun's child is Jin's. We may find out differently, but I want to believe her for now anyway.
