The Hanso Foundation..

Mk. So, we know the Hanso Foundation is a website with many little tidbits and clues that will eventually make sense to us. But I'm really confused.

Is Hanso a real foundation? Is it simply made by Fox or whatever channel it's on just to help us out?

And if you actually called the number previously provided on the site, what happens? Has anyone tried it out; if so, what happened?

And one more thing: the last time I tried to get to the Hanso foundation, the site's background is all black. The Hanso symbol is in red, and in a type-writer esque font, it says, "The Hanso Foundation has been hacked by malicious infiltrators seeking to blemish the good work of many dedicated researchers. Until a legal investigation is completed, the site will no longer be accesible to the public. Namaste."
