abox--no one was stealing your theory. Perhaps trying to explain it more thoroughly, but people (esp admins) don't do that--not on this forum! We're glad to have your input and we're happy you're here. ;)

Some posters have suggested that Desmond wrote on it which would mean that the doors came down sometime during his watch and he was stuck inside for a substantial amount of time; enough for him to scribble on the wall in despair or maybe just to clear his head - hell, I would. Seems odd that he would write in Latin tho. And he seems to know a hell of a lot about the island, its history and its inhabitants. I guess his hatch-mate probably filled him in.

Yeah abox, dont be mad. Sometimes we trip over each other, the amount of theories flying around. I'm sure 'Lost in 80s Music' wasnt stealing anything.

Just in response to abox, I didn't mean to offend you, or to steal your theory. The broad idea that the timer was linked to a magnetic force is common to a lot of theories, many of them very similar to each other.

I'm curious about Kelvin's partner, (forgot his name...'R' something?), and if lockdown really just normally occurred for supply deliveries. Kelvin said the guy had a photographic memory, and this is the guy who started the hatch map, yeah? Well, I guess he did the latin and Kelvin added the english sections. Kelvin doesn't seem like the Latin-speaking kind of guy.
