Season Three Spoilers And Speculation

With season two coming to an end, people (writers and fans alike) are beginning to talk more about season three.

This thread will serve as the general season three spoiler thread and discussion.

Let's see what we've got so far..

We'll be introducing new characters in Season 3, so you'll be getting fresh flashbacks. You'll probably see fewer flashbacks of our original characters as we begin to move toward certain inevitabilities. You will learn more about some of the other survivors next year.

Guess they won't reveal too much before the finale in a few weeks.

The flight attendant, played by that actress I'm apparently supposed to have heard of. Every episode she's in, Channel 7 get the uncontrollable urge to declare in the promo "starring Kimberly Joseph!". Even my friend's heard of her, and was the only reason she was going to watch Lost, but then she goes and 'dies' in the pilot. Said friend abruptly ditched Lost. Maybe it's just me choosing to ignore all Australian TV shows except Love My Way. *shrug* It's not even worth the effort.

Anyway...has anyone read "Bad Twin"? Apparently Gary Troup dedicated it to Cindy. (connections!)

Michael Emerson (Henry Gale) [...] is returning next season as a series regular.

How are they going to tie Henry into the plot? I'm thinking there's either some of the team either caught or remaining with the Others, or Henry turns out to be good and actually joins the Fusies (there's, like, only two Tailies left, wtf). Or he's embedded in everyone's flashbacks. LOL, or there's the time skip and everyone's flashbacks actually revolve around the Others.

The first two ideas there fit in with the "who's the 'us,' and who's the 'them'?" bajig.

JG: You have a lot of boys on the show, and very few girls at this point. Would you guys intentionally correct that imbalance, um, I
assume the story has to tell you how to do it, but how would you approach maybe getting more--

CC: Well, I mean, we haven't met all of the Others, and we haven't met all of the survivors of the plane crash yet.

JG: Is next season everyone joins forces against "Them" and stops fighting and trying to hurt each other?

CC: I will say that the next season is a lot about the Others. That's...there's a lot of mysteries about the Others that we'll be getting into next year.

JG: Will we see more of Alex next season?

CC: Um, yes.
