Well obviously nobody knows for sure yet. But seeing as it leads the water it might track to a like ships in the local area or something. Movement and such may be tracked by it. It ain't goin' to no power source, I'll tell you that right now.

They would've seen the power source in the distance by now. It could, but it would need to go to like a power station (like in Jaws II) then to another one until it hits a larger piece of land. They've been at high points on the island and have said nothing about land being close.

there is 6 hatches, this was said in the orientation tape so i think there is a high chance of an underwater hatch?
