A quick suggestion

The graphical icons you've got (post topic/reply etc) don't really go all that well (in my opinion) with the Hurley theme. You might want to get some new ones.

Anyone else have any thoughts on the matter?

Do you think it's the entire skin or just the buttons? Maybe the red in them?

Anyway, I plan on making my own skin or editing this one heavily when I get the time.

Also, there's another few skins you can get to in the user control panel. The main one's a "Jin skin" - it's darker. Black.

I guess in terms of colors they go OK (though not too brilliantly).

My main concern isn't the colors though. See, the theme seems to be mostly text-based (which I like) and angular (which I also like). Overall I guess I might call it "mature." However, the buttons have rounded corners and those cute little icons (uggh) that don't really fit with the whole "feeling" of the skin.

Don't go to too much trouble though - sure, they don't go too well, but they're tolerable.

Yes.

And if you change those, the post/reply buttons would probably need to be changed to match.
