I really don't get it: Michael working for Ben! And the island won't let him die? So all the buried ppl come back in the end? Like Nikki and Paolo?
Then I am glad I'll see Charlie again! Ben is Alex' stepfather , right? How can Daniele stand beside him saying "my daughter"?! I would smack 'em!

We don't know the whole story on Ben, Alex & Danielle, yet... Let's not get too hasty.
And as far as the island not letting Michael die, it's because he hasn't served his purpose yet. Nikki & Paolo may not be dead...if they are, they may have had no purpose. Or, suppose their diamonds are worth 3.2 million dollars...how 'bout that! We shouldn't see Charlie again however, he has served his purpose. R.I.P. - Charles Hieronimous Pace

OMG that sounds so drastical "serving a purpose", like life is nothing worth else!
 3,2 million dollars ...hmmm that rings a bell !  you know what? They seem to have forgotten about the three-toed statue! I really really really need to know what is with that!!!
