Is Ben scared of Locke

i was re-watching the brig the other day and i got thinking about Ben telling Locke a lot of stuff about the island and how he got there n what not, n i was thinking that Ben may know something about Locke that we dont no yet, and that maybe not even Locke knows yet.

Ben tells Locke that he "brought" his father to the island. then Cindy tells ben that the people are excited cos they had been waiting for him.

and then ben claimes that it was being near Locke that helped him heal

i know somehow that this all means that Locke is pivotol to the plot and that he is some how going to be the saviour of whatever needs to be saved on the island, im just not sure anymore who the good guys are and who it is that he needs to be the saviour of either the others or the losties...

i think ben knows these answers and is fearful of the power Locke will have when he is ready to learn what he is...

The Island picks a Speaker to relay its message and will to the inhabitants of the island, so far it has been Ben. But since Ben has fallen into disfavor, the island seems to have picked Locke as his successor. Ben realises this and is feeling threatened. He shoots Locke to get rid of him but the island (in the form of Walt) restores him.

wow. well if that is the case that opens up a whole knew can of worms, or at least another 500 unanswered questions hehe
