After watching the last two episodes I had the feeling the show is going to end because of all the vision of the future. They actually showed the life after the island. These visions were not visions of jack because he doesn't seem to realize them when he was leading the people to the tower.
The producers could easily say - this is the end of the show and most things were explained...but not all of them: I am wondering about some unanswered questions. Maybe I missed something, can anyone help me out? - The whole "Desmond sees the future thing" is not explained. related to that: -Who is the old lady in the shop and why does she looks so old in the mirror in that one scene? -What was the hatch and the magnetic thing inside and what changed after it imploded? -what was the "incident" the dharma-guy in the video was talking about? -If Noami is not the person who was sent by Penelope why did she has a picture of Desmond with her? -who are the people on the boat if not a rescue team? (- maybe Dharma people who are trying to get back the island from the others?) - What is the temple Ben is talking about in the last episode? - What is the big four toed statue we saw a long time ago? - Who is Jacob and why could we see and hear him one second? related to that: -what is the sand-like substance sourrounding Jacobs house? -who/what is the smoke-monster? -why do people see dead people or people who are not on the island (Ben saw his mother when he was young, Locks saw Walt etc...) -what is the -metapher- magic box ben talked about? - Who is the dead body in the coffin (is it john?) - What do the magic numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42 mean and why everyone on board the flight 815 seem to be linked to each other? - why there are people in the others-group who don't seem to age? ... I am sure this is not all So if anyone knows some answers http://www.lostdiscussion.com/forum/...ons/icon12.gif There are some interesting Temporal Displacement Theories I would everyone recommend to read which explain a lot but are not mentioned so far in the lost episodes. And why did the sealed room that charlie drowned in fill up completely? The water should have come up to the top of the port hole and then been prevented from filling the top part of the room due to the air pressure, He would have been able to breathe in there for some time by just standing on something.
And yeah, Jack may have been completely trousered but everything that he said made sense, he didn't speak gibberish at any point so though he was stoned his other dialogue indicated that he was lucid enough to not think his father was still alive (and working back at the hospital where he was (if I recall correctly) grassed up by Jack for being drunk on the job) Why didn't Desmond and Charlie just cut that wire that was running accross the beach from the spyglass to the radio tower? Surely that would have done a good enough job of stopping the transmission jamming? Mucho strange... |

-what is the -metapher- magic box ben talked about?
That one I can actually answer. It's a metaphor for the island. Damon actually said that on the LOST: The Answers show that was on right before the finale. It's simply another way of stating that people can make things appear on the island of their own will, as in the visions they all seem to have of people from their past. And don't worry, the show isn't ending. They've signed a contract - ending date, may 2010. Three more seasons of 16 episodes each, to run straight through, no reruns, february through may each year.

My English is very bad, so I'm sorry for my mistakes..
Here are my suppositions: - Who is the dead body in the coffin (is it john?) I read in a Russian lost fan site it (Отать в живых | Lost), that it was written on the piece of newspaper which Jack had: The body of John Lantam from New York was found at 4 a. m. in the house 4300, Grand Avenue. Ted Vorden, hall porter of Tower Lofts heard loud sounds coming from the falt of victim. Responsible for safety of tenants, Ted entered there and found the body. Jamie Ortis, a policeman, told that it was suicide. But I'm not sure that this story is true. I read in a site that a half of that text is unreadable. I think, a man in the coffin is a character of next seasons.. - Who is Jacob and why could we see and hear him one second? I think Jacob is the island. And I think Ben didn't lie, telling to John, that Jacob is sitting in the chair.. Maybe John couldn't see him. - If Noami is not the person who was sent by Penelope why did she has a picture of Desmond with her? Perhaps she found it somehow to persuade Desmond, that she was employed by Pehelope to find survived of Oceanic Flight. Anyway I'm sure, that she isn't the person who was sent by Pelelope. Here are my quastions, maybe smb can answer it: - In an episode in which John Locke was in cupboard with Alex, Ben told to Tom to send man from Talahassi. What did he mean? - In that episode John said to Ben : If you had known this island, you wouldn't have put the chiken in the refrigerator. Why did he tell so? What's happend to chiken? ![]() Last edited by Anton Gulaev; 11-05-2007 at 09:48 AM. |
