Excellent episode!

That episode was out of this world! Best episode of the season. A local radio station had the producers on and they said the following things.

1) We will see Walt and/or Michael before the end of the season
2) The season finale is 2 hours
3) The four toed statue is a very important part in the discovery of the island
4) Someone important on the show will die soon.

All of that being said I have a theory about the plane. It was said that the plane was found in the bottom of a 4 mile trench and that there were no survivors. With a trench that big they would never be able to exsume any of the bodies so it is my theory that the airline is lying to people and they never actually found the plane but are trying to cover there tracts. Any thoughts?

Best episode? I didn't understand any of it! All the time jumps...8 days ago, 3 days ago..bla bla...How did Locke's father get there? I refuse to believe it is hell. I have still the hope that Lost is ending up like a normal plane crash with survivors. I don't want any supernatural things being involved. And - until not proven differently - I keep my hope alive and try to explain the things a rather natural way. So someone kidnapped Locke's father to bring him to the island? To play this sarcastic game on Locke? What a pervert could that be? Yeah Ben for sure! Did Cooper call Ben "bugeye" lol that was priceless!
This was the confusing episode ever! What was Rousseau supposed to do in that scene? Did that have any deeper scence? Just walked on by to fetch some dynamite?! Hey why not? Don't we all do this from time to time?
And then Kate? Why the frack did she turn her back on Sayid now? So she gave Jack a secret, but he won't tell Kate what Juliette wants her to know? Ahh I would have just jumped at him and beat the hell out of him. That was all so unlogical....So Naomi has a satelite phone. Why doesn't it work now?
ahhhhhhhhh too many questions again and the only answer we got is the one we already knew with the good speculation of some of us here.

I hope you are right @ IThinkICrashedYourPlane and the airline is lying about it. I appreciate that theory very much. Very plausible too. I like that better than the "hell-thing".

i just don't get a thing, it can't be real and that's for sure, how can a pollar bear be there in the island? now? what's it all about with Jack, Juliette and Kate? what is it? tell her what? this is the best episode, i loved it, but who can say more?

I explain the polar bear with those experiments of Dharma that have gone wrong. And for sure they needed animals (and ppl?) for experiments. So after everything was left, the animals were released or freed themselves somehow. So that's why they are running around there.
I hope this is not hell or something. I won't stop watching, but I would hate it.
May be it is really a magnetic field or something that the island is surrounded with. Naomi said that their instruments were going mad just after she discovered there was land.

Crossroads of dimensions. That's why her instruments went mad. Because she crossed dimensions.

Think about it. Remember, the flight 815 communications went down and they lost control of the plane. This was because the shield protecting the island from other people was lowered, due to desmond not pushing the button. So flight 815 crashes. Naomi's instruments and electronics got screwed up. Why? Because again, the shield is down now and she moved through into the intersecting dimensions. We could also say that phones and radios can't communicate with the outside world here because they are in the place where dimensions cane be crossed, and therefore the dimensions are jumbled and they wouldn't be able to reach anyone.

That or it could simply be the magnetic field as angel said, but I feel like the implosion of the swan ruined the magnetic stuff.

yeah but it could still be the magnetic stuff and the hatch implostion could av ruined it.. i feel that crossed dimentions just doesnt quite add up...if it was a crossed dimension that they crossed into, then how would bodies av been found with the plane somewhere else???

I like your thoughts on this episode. It was confusing to me too.
