hmm I only hope Desmond keeps on saving Charlie because I like this little hobbit *grin* and I love his jokes and I just don't want him to die. It'll be boring without him. I hope Desmond sees that it is no test from god , and if, I mean if you get the chance to save someone you SHOULD do it, that would be the test, I mean if Charlie was meant to die then someone like God or so wouldn't let Desmond know to give him the chance to save him. He would just let him die and that's it.

I gotta admit, while I always liked Sawyer, Eko & Jack, I never realized how much I actually like Charlie until this last epi, Greatest Hits. I actually got kinda misty about it. Especially that bit with Hurley.

Well I think, Desi just realized that Charlie MUST die to save the others. Not THE OTHERS, but the rest of the losties. Well fate is fate, isn't it?!

1. I'm personally glad to see Niki and Paulo go. They really served no purpose. While it was a little extreme, it was a way to go out with a bang.

2.*cry* Charlie's gone! Although, I like how Desmond proposed a Jesus sort of thing with "Maybe I keep seeing you die because I'm supposed to take your place". But, Dom always said he wanted to go out in a cool way...I guess this counts. It was so sad how Aaron started crying when Charlie died. Claire's going to be so sad. I also like how Charlie said "Don't worry about me while I'm gone". That was seriously sweet.

Every character serves his purpose. And I liked Paolo after I got to know him better. It is only that the audience wasn't used to the characters and Newbies have it always hard ,haven't they? Everyone deserves a chance. Sad they had to go so early. They could have stayed a little longer and bring some more salt and pepper into the Jack-Kate-Sawyer triangle!

i dont think the audience didnt like them just cos they wer newbies, i mean we all accepted desmond, and he wasnt one of the original characters

i reckon the makers of the show wanted us to dislike them, because they never intended to keep them in the show for long

hmm umm well o.k. but I liked Paolo though, he was kind of sweet how he was afraid of loosing the love of Nikki who didn't deserve him after all.
