Locke blew the submarine up for the same reason he blew up the flame station. He doesn't want ANYONE to have communication/access to the outside world. Locke has experienced a miraculous healing. He doesn't want that to be ruined by leaving the island. He doesn't want anyone else to leave the island either. He's one crazy coconut.

If you noticed when watching last weeks episode when Locke climbed into the sub he went directly in to it. The scene then cuts and goes to a different situation. But when it cuts back to Locke walking on the dock he is soaking wet.
Any thoughts on this? |

I can imagine why HE doesn't want to leave the island. But he can't decide for anyone else. If he wants to stay - fine - he probably can stay with Ben's (and who-ever's) permission. But I think he shouldn't decide for Jack and all the others who want to go back to their life.
