Why Did Locke Blow Up The Sub?

I think it's for a couple of reasons.

First off he doesn't want to leave the island because it miraculously healed him.

Secondly he wants to keep what's his face there so he cannot con other people.

But he also blew it up because he doesn't want anyone else to leave because they may come back with other people and destroy the island and whatnot.

I really like Loche generally, I'm not a man of faith by any means, but he makes the show interesting.

lockes a fag i liked him until he blew up the sub. but i dont understand he was always doin good stuff and was the good guy but after he asked for the man from tallahasse and whatnot he kinda pissed me off kinda selfish if you ask me

Locke has always had his own agenda since he fell on the island. Let's not forget he got Boone killed in the first episode doing his mysterious hunter crap.

this is true, i think we kinda forget this from time to time. its good to keep in mind that Locke is out for himself more than anyone else

I think I might change my mind about Locke after he blew up that sub. I don't think that it was nice of him because he didn't think about the others who want to leave the island. He is so selfish.
