What happened to kate?

in the 3rd season you see kate come out of a shower and get told to put a dress on, then she goes down to the beach and has breakfast, she then gets told that the next 2 weeks are going to be hard. She then gets put in the cage and where the hand cuffs were her wrists are cut and the guy says to her 'they can be rough can't they'.

Does anyone know what happened to her and will we find out?

i saw pictures from a scene that was apparently cut out, of her struggling against Tom.

and also, i mean they told her to tighter them. those things were really tight on her wrists. any amount of struggles could have caused them to pierce the skin and rub it raw.

I dont think anything happened besides her maybe refusing the breakfast - hence her actually wanting a fish biscuit from Sawyer when she got thrown in the pen. I think she was brought straight from the Ben's Beach Breakfast to the polarbear cages.
