What is Eko building?

He is building a church of some sorts. He has been very low key since talking to 'Henry' even though that wasn't too many episodes ago.

I've heard he's building a church, but I don't buy it. Somehow I doubt many people would actually go to it, and if they don't, then what's the actual point of having such a building?

I think simply a general community town center. They have nothing official. No meeting place, not anything. There are no buildings really. It's lame. They need some sort of shealter as they now realize, hopefully, that they're there for the long term.

this is very true, they havint built any type of shelter of any kind. Maybe eko is the only smart one to see that they are going to be there for a while and they proper shelter. But then having a shelter also brings up the possibility or destruction by another

Church sounds right to me.

He could get Bernard & his wife, Charlie to confess and come back to the fold, and all the nameless other survivors.

yea a church is probably what it is but eko is a very strange and mystifying person. So we can only guess what it is. I think that he will be a big part in lost very soon as the story develops. Does any one know if weve seen anything about his past? I cant really remember, help me out?
