Locke's secret

Okay, as you know, John Locke used to be in a wheelchair prior to the crash, as we saw on a flashback on Locke's episode on Lost. Now, in the episode the Boone dies in, John told Boone that he used to be in a wheelchair.

Now, a few things on that. Why would he tell Boone? Was there something I missed concerning that? But even so, he could have comprimised his secret by telling Boone. Second - and this is the wild bit - what if Boone wouldn't have died if Locke hadn't told him? Seriously. Think about it - fate. Locke believes in fate. Perhaps it was fate that anyone who knows the Islands abilities or that John got healed could die.

Just a wild little thought.

As good as it sounds, I doubt it, espeically as Boone/Locke's secret haven't been a major part of the show recently. Actually, I don't recall any more of it after that episode.

Interesting, but seems unlikely. I mean, yeah, the creator's have thrown in a lot of twists, but also a lot of apparent nonsense too.

I think the Boone's death has nothing to do with Locke telling his secret, but it is a real possibility. I wish we could see more of Locke these days though. Less Locke on lost seems to be less tension.

maybe locke just told boone because he knew boone was going to die, remember he saw the plane and boone covered in blood just before they went looking for it and boone died

But then the question becomes, "how did he know?"
