chances of crashing

the chances of a plane actually crashing are small...but considering everthing else that crashed there - other planes, boats, and presumably a hot air balloon, that makes it extremely unrealistic.

Odds are EXTREMELY against it. I read more people die anually from donkeys than plane crashes.

yeah ok so not many planes crash but at the end of the day they still DO crash occasionally and thats all the reality u need

They have a point... but it is just a tv show. Sometimes we get a little too obsessed with Lost.

yea but think about the burmuta triangle. So many dissapearings have happened during then and there is no record of it. Maybe this is kinda like the same thing but different, who knows

Exactly what I was thinking about as well. It was still chance, but there was an actual purpose that caused it.
