Could you guys please help me with my English course homework?
I'll put some words and phrasal verbs here and you guys give me the definition of it, or you could post links to good online dictionaries, please.
And when I have doubt about something, I'll ask for help too, 'k?
You'll be like my not-payed teachers. :)

accurate, entitle, portray, inspect, look over, escort, pass along, tag, rip-off, assessment, mortgage, budget, burnout, overall, point-blank.

accurate = when measuring something, you want accurate results. (the right results)
entitle = deserve. I am entitled to two breaks every 8 hours.
portray = to act like. Sandra Bullock will portray a rich woman in her next movie.
inspect = look through. When you fly, the airport staff sometimes inspect your luggage.
look over = skim, scan, breif gaze. My mom looked over my answers in my homework.
escort = like someone's date. I need an escort to the dance. Will you escort me?

mortgage = an amount of money you give to the government to pay for your house.
budget = if you sort out your money spendings, you are creating a budget.
assessment = (not sure how to explain without an example) If a teacher was to assess you, they would be checking how you were performing in class.

Actually, a mortgage is paid to the bank for your house. You goto the bank to lend you money to build your house, then you pay the bank back every month. This repayment is called a mortgage.

burnout = (when you are tired of doing something)
overall = means average. (I like different parts, but overall its good)
point-blank = usually means close enough to the gun that has just shot you, that you could also get gunpowder on your body. (They shot him at point blank range)
