can i just ask how u feel it leaves a bad taste in the mouth, were all on this forum for a common reason we all like lost, and yeah this is a pretty pointless conversation as it has nothing to do with lost but were all here to voice our opinions and yeh it gets a bit heated when you feel strongly about it, but as far as im concerned no matter whats said there are no hard feelings after all every1 is entitled to their opinion and i respect what they have to say even if i dont agree and say i dont agree

True, only three of us care about this subject on these forums, at least for now. But did you expect your voice to be broadcasted across the nation on CNN?

If you want to look at it that way, 99% of what humans do is an exercise of futility. Watching Lost is futile, as it solves no world problems. Talking about it is only a waste of time... I don't know what you define as futile or not, but it must suck for your friends when they're passionately discussing something only to get cut off with pompous disregard that deems the subject an "exercise in futility."

Not only that, but hello... we're in the OFFTOPIC forums.

I didn't feel any heat from anyone participating on this thread. We're merely exchanging ideas and trying to reach a better grasp on one another's perspective. I apologize if I came out offensive, but you have to realize this is the internet and one day you'll come across a prick that's a thousand times worse than me.

Don't sweat over it Michelle.

Clearly, this guy's the type who never built his argumentative skills because he always backed out and justified it in his mind that he "transcended" above the argument. Of course in reality, he conceded that he was incapable of defending his point of view.

His responses are more predictable than a Power Rangers episode.

His favorite comebacks include...

"... putting words in my mouth."

"... Too Long. Didn't Read."

"... this is an exercise in futility."

Basically they're all simple lines that he memorized and has been recycling like a robot since junior high.
