A monster showing for the season premiere of "Lost" (households: 13.7/21, #1; adults 18-49: 10.0, #1) powered ABC (households: 11.1/17, #1; adults 18-49: 7.5, #1) to a dominant victory on Wednesday. Compared with its premiere last season (households: 11.7/19; adults 18-49: 6.6 on 9/22/04), "Lost" was up a shocking 17.09% in households and 51.51% in adults 18-49.
Leading into the broadcast was the special "Destination Lost" (households: 9.2/15, #3; adults 18-49: 5.6, #3) while the premiere of "Invasion" (households: 10.5/17, #2; adults 18-49: 7.1, #2) followed.
