I received my Teen Vogue today after school, and theres a page on Maggie Grace in it about her makeup and a little about Lost lol so here it is.

Ever since Maggie Grace was picked to play a castaway on ABC"s Lost, the question of what she'd bring to a desert island has taken on a distinctly less theoretical slant. As socialite Shannon, she was seen in the series pilot painting her toenails and tanning amid the wrekage, but Maggie-who now lives in Hawaii, where the hit show is shot-insists that her beauty routine is decidely low-maintenance.

The 21 year old has come a long way from the Columbus, Ohio, suburb where she greew up. But Maggie says that the 6 years she spent working in semi-obscurity before she got her big break(she moved to LA at 16) served her well-she learned how to know a good thing when she sees it. "I had other offers, but my heart was set on LOST," she says. "It was a gamble, and it paid off. Lost has opened incredible doors for me."
One role she's nabbed as a result of her newfound fame is the lead (opposite tom welling's tom welling) in a remake of JOhn Carpenter's classic horror flick The Fog; Maggie spent last spring shuttling back and forth from Hawaii to the movie's Vancouver set. Happily, Lost's harrowing crash scenes haven't made the actress plane-phobic. She did, however, bring a bit of the beach with her to Vancouver in the form of her 1 desert-island essential-her favorite hair product, KMS Sea Salt Spray.
