From TV Guide:
Lead Drama Actress Our Nominees... Kristen Bell (Veronica, Veronica Mars) Glenn Close (Captain Rawling, The Shield) Evangeline Lilly (Kate, Lost) Molly Parker (Alma, Deadwood) Joely Richardson (Julia, Nip/Tuck) While Parker's understated work amid Deadwood's scenery-chewing is worthy of notice, and Close shone on The Shield, we're really pulling for Bell — our pick for this year's TV find. Lead Drama Actor Our Nominees... Matthew Fox (Jack, Lost) Hugh Laurie (House, House) Denis Leary (Tommy, Rescue Me) Ian McShane (Swearengen, Deadwood) James Spader (Alan, Boston Legal) After last year's snub, McShane had better be a no-brainer. Elsewhere, Laurie made a jackass lovable, Fox found the burden of Lost on his shoulders, Spader gave a risky spin-off zing, and Leary was on fire in Rescue Me. Best Drama Our Nominees... Deadwood Lost 24 Veronica Mars The Wire Mars was out of this world, Deadwood f---ing brilliant, The Wire electrifying, and 24 had its best day yet. But Lost is a phenomenon. Supporting Drama Actress Our Nominees... Shohreh Aghdashloo (Dina, 24) Yunjin Kim (Sun, Lost) Paula Malcomson (Trixie, Deadwood) Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe, 24) Robin Weigert (Calamity Jane, Deadwood) Deadwood's Weigert is the ultimate scene-stealer, and Rajskub has made 24's Chloe the coolest nerd on the tube. But we'd be scared to overlook the intensely creepy Aghdashloo. Supporting Drama Actor Our Nominees... Anthony Anderson (Antwon, The Shield) Dominic Monaghan (Charlie, Lost) Terry O'Quinn (Locke, Lost) William Sanderson (E.B., Deadwood) Gregory Smith (Ephram, Everwood) As Deadwood's clueless mayor, Sanderson is a hoot. Monaghan and O'Quinn have been stand-outs on Lost. Smith, meanwhile, remains TV's finest young male actor. And Anderson held his own with Glenn Close and Michael Chiklis. Nuff said.
