No, they can't get rid of him!! We're losing enough of the original cast the way it is with Walt and Michael off to sea. Was it a trustworthy source or someone blowing smoke?

Oh no. I really hope not. Hurley is the guy everyone identifies with, the only one who's like us - the cypher. Without it LOST is gonna lose a lot of heart. Everyone else are like some larger-than-life personalities; Jack is the hero, Sawyer is the rebel-loner, Kate is the action heroine, Claire is the damsel-in-distress, etc. Hurley is the real-est guy on the show. Granted he doesnt do much but I feel he kinda anchors the show - no pun intended.

WOW I can't beleive this. Hurley is less a serious character on the show and brings the show back to reality a bit.

He is funny and I love the kind words Sawyer says to him, lol.

I don't think he's going to permanently leave the show. At least I'd hope not. Maybe something happens to him on his way back from the other's camp?
