what is the deal with hurely and that one chick from the plane crash? you know, he's like "I have a chance with her" or some such thing, and then there were some previews. He was like "don't I know you from somewhere"? What do you think?

I don't know - apparently he knew her from before. Possibly at the CD store or whatever. I'm hoping for a flashback for Hurley.

It seems that they are hinting at a past connection between Hurley and Libby, but not from the record store. Most people seem to think it was from the mental hospital somehow. The reasoning was that she said she was a clinical psychologist. This is in question now though because of hints that have been given that she may be a compulsive liar.

Except now she's dead, so I don't really see the point in that whole thing. It's like the writers wanted to do something big on her, but realized tying her previous life in with Hurley would be too complicated... maybe not though, we'll see.
