Is there any significance too this?
My first thought was that it was similar to the entire boar-related experience that Sawyer had. (I'm still puzzled by that if anyone wants to explain) Just wondering your thoughts on it and if there's any significance.

Besides just that seeing the horse on the island probably brings up bad memories in Kate, I can't quite see its signifigance either.
One little thing about the horse being on the island though - could it be a clue to past residents of the island? For example, near where I live there's an island named Cumberland Island with wild horses that are the descendants of domesticated horses brought by early settlers (horses aren't native to the area). |

But I think there is a significant difference with the horse and the boar. The boar - be it true or not - seemed to come across as someone who hated Sawyer, probably the man Sawyer killed, though I am not certain.
The horse, though it may or may not be significant in Lost, seems entirely different than the boar that Sawyer encountered. Mysterious, yes, but different. Like a helper and not a hinderer. A friend. Just some further thoughts.
