Submarine?

Ben told Juliette the "sub" was back. Does this mean submarine?

hmmmm... possibly. But, i don't see how a submarine could have surfaced near the boat without making a ton of noise, and why they would need a submarine to go such a short distance into the water.

however, its as plausible as anything else on this show. Way to pick up on that, i don't even remember it haha.

This is the way I look at it.

Sayid & Jin were on the beach, while the yacht was on the water. The pier thingy that you walk on to get to the boat is/was clearly visible by the guys. Sun was inside, blissfully unaware of her man and Sayid.

The others MUST have come from the water's side; and they WERE dry. This means they were probably on a boat, right? But the boat would be visible, and make some kind of noises.

But a submarine, only has to surface enough for the hatch to be above water level. It doesn't have to be a military sub, just a 5 person sub would do.

Yeah, a submersible more than a submarine. A 5-man craft rather than something that needed a full crew.

I think too, it must have been a submarine. They have way more equipment as we know.
