10. Sahid and Roussau find a romantic bond.

Rousseau and Sahid share more about themselves and Sahid learns some special things abut the French chick. But she refuses to reveal some things and won't live with the Losties. Ultimately Sahid gets afraid of being hurt again and pulls away, just as Rousseau is ready to trust him with a big secret.

11. Someone makes a play for Hugo's money.

A will written by Hugo is found on Dharma stationery. On the dock, Sawyer realised Hurley is Hugo, the one who left all the money to his mother. Kate goes back to the lost bottle of the ship messages and realises Hugo's will naming his mother is gone. We see someone altering it and then writing their name in.(Sawyer?) or Desmond...

12. One of the Losties will defect to the Others camp.

Henry and Locke make a deal so Locke is allowed to stay in the Others camp. Only Rousseau knows Locke is alive and living there. Henry brokers access to Alex in exchange for Rousseau not saying anything about Locke joining the enemy camp

I guess pretty much anything could happen, really. I agree with you, mystwoman, especially on #12.

What Locke did could really affect his beliefs, and his view on where he stands amongst the survivors. We saw in Lockdown a 'pact' of sorts between Henry and Locke. So I think it's entirely plausible that he might change sides.

Do you think there's any chance of a time jump? They haven't done it on Lost, yet, but there's certain stories I think would be best suited if the writers skipped the formalities and we re-enter the story next season with gaps in our understanding, as viewers, but characters have undergone some significant developments, both personal and plot-related.

I'm thinking in particular about the K/J/S situation. We could watch them as they get locked away/probed/god knows what the Others are planning, but personally, I'd much rather jump back in after they've adjusted to the new circumstances and activities. Maybe that's just 'cause I like mysteries.

Oh, and I don't want to have to sit through Claire and Charlie's 'morning after' talk about where their relationship stands.

i agree with the lock therios i think he would change sides as the island has helded him and if the is achance that somone will be geting help he might do what he can 2 stay lol

Whoa, I didn't know the actor who plays Hurley was leaving the show. Aw, it'll be sad if he dies, which is basically how all characters exit this show.

Those first three things listed seem very plausable (for lost, anyway). I could see it happening.
