'lost' The Game

Hello all, i'm new here, so excuse me if i've put this in the wrong part of the forum. I've had an idea, though, so feel free to correct me if i'm old hat. Could it be possible that 'Lost' is the name of a high-tech virtual reality game? All the charcters are playing this game with no recollection that this is the case, perhaps this would explain the bizarre nature of events, and also the fact that veryone seems to be interconnected in some way. What does anyone think? Also, there's a few people out there talking about a book called the Postcard Diaries. I've found it on google and it looks interesting, but has anyone actually read it?

this theory has come up alot, i dont think that is the case, if this was true y would abc go through all the trouble puting up the hanso foundation comercials and secret meseges in there comercials.
