Did Shannon really die?

What do you think? Did she really die? I mean, yeah, probably, but we didn't actually see her dying breath or anything like that. I mentioned this before, but it's possible, though unlikely, that it was Sawyer or Cindy.

I think she's dead and was shot, obviously, but I was wondering if anyone else thought elsewise?

Yeah, I was thinking that too - maybe she wasn't dead. But she is - last weeks promo-episode thing had Ana Lucia say she killed someone he (Sayid) loved.

So yeah, she's gone for good.

she's dead. end of story! she will stay that way ;P i found her really annoying and the whole shannon/sayid thing baffled me to no end... sayid rocks the house and i really didn't understand why he would go for her. i didn't like boone either lol... or ana lucia... i wish libbey didn't die though...

that's a silly answer. why did it require him to? about the only thing i can see that it did for the plot was to make sayid really angry and develop his character a bit, but then an episode or two later he was the same old sayid again... pointless :\

I think the main reason would be, simply, to add a romance to the island, in an attempt to please female viewers.
