How do you think the series will end?

Do you think they'll get rescued, or do you think the series will end with them still being stuck on the island? At first I thought that if they got rescued, that would be lame, but that's how Lord of the Flies ends, and that works perfectly. So it is possible the series will end with them getting rescued.

i think it won't come down to "rescued or not", i think the entire ending will make the idea of being rescued a moot point... i think that long before the end of the series they will no longer be "lost", and the show will come down to "right vs wrong" more than anything else i think before the end, the concern for them being rescued will be well forgotten

That's not something I thought of as a possibility. Good insight, that.

I have often given though to how this series will end. I actually would like to see them rescued about 3-4 episodes from the end, and then have the remaining episodes show how they adjust to their old life after their experiences on the island.

I'm not sure they can be 'rescued' . The island is hidden from the world, except when the emp goes off (like when those people in the snow saw it on the radar). So how would a boat or something ever find them, unless it was traveling by right as an emp went off.

With that said, I really don't know how it will end.

I think they could have the option of being 'rescued' like walt and his father did - they took the option of 'leaving' weither they really did or not.

i think they will find out all the secrets of the island and have to some how use them to escape the island. i dont think it will b a case of being rescued more a case of them escaping themselves somehow. that is if they get off the island at all

no the producers have already said they know how its going to end, they have a definate ending for it. people would be to dissapointed if all the loose ends wernt tied up

only if the network cancels it. i wouldn't be surprised. they love to take awesome shows, piss all over them and cancel them before they reach a conclusion ;P but i think lost is bringing in enough money

if you hate the show so much, why are you here? you're among fans, i can't imagine any reason for you to post several messages about hating the show, on a forum dedicated to the show, unless you're fishing for an argument :P everyone's got an opinion, by all means i don't expect everyone to like the show... i just don't really understand it :P if it was a general tv forum then yeah, but it's a lost forum lol...
