Default the hanso foundation

have you guys had much discussion about the hanso foundation?

i saw most of the show on dvd and computer videos, and only the last few episodes of it on actual tv, so i didn't notice the commercials until last week. i wonder how much stuff there is out on the net about this

to the entire web "game" they're putting on... for example if you look at the source of thehansofoundation.org there is a hidden url to www.djdan.am... apparently there's a cookie crumb trail covering a number of sites and hidden things... as well as someone that keeps hacking thehansofoundation.org and putting strange things there, such as a strange fuzzy black and white image of someone's head with the eyes/nose/mouth missing

holy crap was because those people figured all that stuff out... like decoding all that stuff and such... it's impressive is all.

it's an "alr", alternate reality game... basically they created a fake company - the hanso foundation - and create a presence for it in the "real world". there's the commercials (only aired during lost episodes), the book (the bad twin), a couple other tv things (such as an interview with a representative of hanso foundation, and of the supposed author of the bad twin)... and the general internet presence... websites scattered around, with puzzles and mysteries to solve.

there is no "official" definition of what the game is... in fact the people aren't even sure what the eventual goal is, though they think at the moment the goal is to find this missing person from the foundation itself, while uncovering various shady dealings of the hanso foundation execs...

it's just an interesting extension of the show and quite thorough imo
