Questions of Lost

All the questions in Lost are driving me insane. For every question the show answers, we get five more questions. It's getting to the point, where I'm forgetting what the questions were. So... to help us keep alert, we can compile all the questions here. I'll start with a few. You guys contribute.

1. What's the true significance of all the numbers. As someone pointed out, the cursed lottery numbers = 108, which is how much time the islanders have to press a mysterious button. Still, what does 108 mean?

2. What's the deal with the foot statue, that only had four toes?

3. what is the significance of the fact that all the characters are inter-related in such coincidental ways (aside from all being in australia at the same time)

4. what's in the other hatch's from locke's map

5. why did the others take the kids? why did they take anyone, and where did they take them?

6. what was libby doing in the psyche ward with hurley - she looked like a patient, not a doctor, and she acted like she'd never met him before the island

7. why was desmond unable to sail away from the island

8. what causes the healing power of the island (locke's leg, sun's baby, i know i'm forgetting others)

9. who were adam and eve

10. what were the black and white stones that jack took from the bodies of adam and eve and pocketed

11. why is walt so good at that backgammon or whatever, what is with the strangeness surrounding him... "has walt ever appeared somewhere he shouldn't be" "walt is more than we could handle" (the others in the finale episode), the time when walt appears to sayid and whats her face in the jungle saying "shhh" with the water pouring out of his mouth... also the flashback with the bird hitting the window and such... just after burning the first raft, someone (michael?) says they can stay if he wants, but walt has a strange change of heart and says no, they must leave (like he knows something) ... etc etc

12. the black thing that locke and eko both stared down, and i assume that pulled the pilot out of the plane in episode 1?

14. the horse (or did kate just imagine it?)

15. the sickness that danielle murdered her team over, and that the injections were supposedly for, that even the others were using on what's her face when they kidnapped her (damn i'm bad with names right now!!), the quarantine sign was supposedly for, but has not affected anyone yet... i'd say that was all just a lie except for the fact that the others were injecting the pregnant girl with a supposed antidote...

16. all of the premonitions about her baby - the psychic, and her dreams, saying that noone else must raise the baby... like the baby is some kind of demon

17. where are all the "spirit guide" hallucinations and dreams coming from

18. wth was the crazy bird that swooped down in the finale and why did hurley think it said his name

on the bird...at that time i was taping the show..played it over and over...the bird never said his name..just wanted to let all know..
also....who and why the drop off of food...do they know the plane is there..
who picks up michael and walt..if they follow the course laid out for them..do they know the plane wrecked there..

19. where does that cable go, the one that sayid followed just before meeting danielle... it went out into the water, and up into the forest, but we never saw where it ended up in either direction nor what it was for
