i have to agree with that statement. My problem with jack is he is such a commom, i-must-be-the-hero-and-save-everyone guy. I bugs me how he always has to be in charge and make all the decisions.
locke on the other hand is pretty darn cool. he's one of my favorites. Totally original and complex.

i wouldn't go so far as to say that i hate him. But i dislike his character extremely. And yes, he can get on my nerves sometimes.

do i care for locke as a person? No, of course not. But as a character? definately yes. A brilliant bit of writing, his character is totally interesting and original. I liked te aspect of his togetherness with the island ins season 1. But in season 2, locke fell apart a bit, and wasn't nearly as cool as season 1. I didn't like his period of doubt.

I agree. Jack is not that likeable to me. I agree with what losty09 said about Jack. Though, by the end of season two Locke wasn't my favorite character anymore. I'm hoping for some improvement there next season. Their fighting got a little annoying. They were like little children.
