after seeing ep3 (finally)
could desmond be a little bit psychic, or knows what is gonna happen in the future? he did know about the speech that locke gave, and then tryed to avoid it...

yes, it seems like he can see things in the future. I wonder if he always could or if it is an effect from the hatch blowing up?! Locke went mute, Charlie couldn?t hear for a while, maybe that is what Desmond got, something with seeing.........

It has to be an effect from the hatch. The real question is, will this effect last? Like, will it stay in place or fade away?
