Will Jack die?

Anyways, I was wondering about this the other day, contemplating on if the Lost creators will ever kill off Jack.

He seems to not be showing up in the episodes as much, and generally not interacting as much lately as he did in the first season. Just something I noticed.

I strongly doubt that the creators of Lost will ever kill off Jack, unless they kill the entire cast.

For one reason, he is sort of the main character. Not my favorite, but there's no getting around it - he's the big guy. He was the first character in the first episode, so it was kind of hard to get rid of him after that.

Also, if you look at the case for the first season of Lost, you'll see the group sillhouettes, then on the side, you'll see Jack.

Jack won't die. I hope not anyway. That' be a horrible thing to do in the show, and they'd loose a lot of fans. But it would make for a nice, original ending though.

Hmm... I really don't know. The maker of Lost truly has portrayed Jack as the primary character, so I don't think he'll die. But if he does, all - or most - of the other Lost characters will as well.

I read somewhere also that the creators wanted to kill Jack off in the very first episode of Lost! I didn't know that. Anyway, I read that the producers said no so they kept him.

If I were the producers of the show, I would consciously make the show not depend on Jack. I'm sure the producers want Lost to last for a long time. But what if Matthew Fox decides, in a few years, that he wants to move on, maybe to a career in film -- if the show depends on him, then that will injure or perhaps kill the show.
