who is Alex?

I've heard a lot of different thoughts/views/definations. Some say a child. Some said a man, some said a girl - a few said there was no alex. I'm confused. Lol. Thanks.

Alex is Danielle Rousseau's daughter. She is now hanging out with Zeke/Mr. Friendly and his crew. She was the Alex that called to when he needed them to bring out Kate.

This was confirmed in the official Lost podcast last week.

I was going to say that supposedly she was "hanging out with" Zeke, but if you say it's confirmed by an official source, I'll take your word for it.

I was under the impression she was the blonde chick on the boat that attacked Sawyer/Jin/Michael's raft. Unless she used a wig or hair dye, I guess that's wrong based on last episode. Was that the first appearance we've ever actually seen of her?
