jack, his (ex)wife, and the affair

Well, it's obvious that Jack and his wife experienced problems, and one of the recent episodes highlighted that lightly.

Anyway, I'm looking for general thoughts on this. Do you think the person the supposed affair was with could be someone that was on the plane? Do you think anything more significant will come from this?

I think it's very possible that more will come of this. We've seen so many backstories intertwine, why not this one?

I have to say I thought this was a pretty lame part of the Jack story. We all wanted to know what happened with his marriage and it ended up being something mundane.
