This particular episode was a little choppy in that the editor cut back and forth between memory and current events.

I particularily enjoyed this episode for that reason, that there was some more background added to the character of Kate. Becomming a little more impressed by lost...

Kate tells him she is a Canadian

Finally they let a Canadian BE Canadian! Not some American with a bad accent! Vive les Canadiennes!

What we don?t know is exactly why Kate is wanted: murder, armed robbery, what?

armed robbery and general murder are fairly commonplace crimes, so I think she would really have had to do something a little more exciting for them to hunt her down and have her extradited than just murder. Maybe somebody improtant or a serial or something even more exciting than that....I also want to bring up the fact that she was convinced the Marshall (or whatever he was) had the wrong story, and that she hadn't done whatever, but she seemed willing to cop to Jack about whatever she has done...so what is it?!?!?!?!?

Here we will probably see someone from this group other than Kate or Sayid, drop the bomb on the survivors sometime in the future.

The oriental couple has some nice scenes.

and they added subtitles this time. I like that!

Locke wakes up Walt?s father and tells him that he found the dog and thought it a good idea if he brings him back to his son. (I really liked this little subplot.)

I agree, I thought this was a fantastic touch, but Locke is still such a mystery...where did he learn to whittle the whistle? And what's with the anti-social behaviour as well? Hmmmm...we shall see.

Jack tells Sawyer all he did was hit the lung and not his heart.

What an idiot! Of all the places to shoot a guy...he needs to watch more tv! :lol: Execution style!

She wants to tell him about herself. He doesn?t want to know.

I could've clobbered him for this...just because he doesn't want to know doesn't mean the rest of us don't!!!!

Can I add about the dead bodies in the fuselage that the fuselage would've made better shelter than those pathetic excuses for tents which they had constructed (with tarps which came from where???). I think JJ is working to hard on some things while missing out on the little things which can frustrate a watcher.

Another great column, and certainly hope that things get better for those who are LOST.

One last comment though: Is anybody else thinking about Lord of the Fleas...erm...Flies everytime they see LOST?
