"Lift up your eyes and look North, John 3:05"
Locke took that as a sign from the island. What do you all think?

Yes - things get a little strange when you realize that John 3:05 says: "Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit."
I think this is a good verse for Eko to carve into his stick, but I don't think it will have any significance, other than John 3:05 must mean something else - Yes, like John's first name, and perhaps cooridinates, or something such thing. |

Thanks, Yellow Jo, and welcome to the forum!
Hmmm... I'm pretty sure it has significance. Lets see... No one can enter the Kingdom of God unless he is born of water and of the Spirit. Entering the Kingdom of God may mean access to another place, a place of importance, a higher level? Born of water - they may have to swim, access may be concealed underwater or behind a waterfall or something. I wonder if the Spirit in this context is Smokie; you have to confront Smokie in order to pass into the next stage/level/place? |
