I'm very dissapointed with Lost right now. The whole smoke-grabbing-Eko scene really upset me. I mean, if the ghost/smoke wasn't dumb enough, it physically grabs Eko and kills him. I cannot think of an explanation for that. Moreoever, it looked rather dumb.

I hate it when show kill off my favorite characters. My only hope for this having some redeeming quality is that this might be the beginning of Cerberus having a speaking role (it was much creepier as dead thugs and Ecko's brother). Oh, hi Pearl! I'm Sehkmetssun.

I have to agree with Bladerunna about Eko. What a lame way to die?!! Call me crazy, but it looked like the smoke took on the rough shape of a fist on it's final blow to Eko. Did anyone else notice that?

So sad to see him go...why did it have to be that way. If that wasnt his brother, than who was it? The devil?...Why'd they kill him? Is it associated w/ the Others, or is the Smoke monster a seperate entity?...did you see how they rolled away the stone, and the body wasnt there?...biblical ref. re: Jesus resurrection.

i think, all the hallucinations the losties have experienced may be manifestations of the monster. look for a theory soon.

i didn't think it was that lame. I actually was happy it wasn't just another shooting death. Now that, that has been done to the point of no return.
