ok, The Desmond Thing

Right folks ,,, lets here your views on the Desmond Situation, everyone is yapping on about Sawer and Jack but the Des thing is doing my head in ...


I think Desmond has the ace up his sleave so to speak .


i want Desmond with me when i pick my next lottery numbers ( apart from 4 8 15 16 23 42 )...

hmm the desmond thing... well, obviously something happened to him.

something happened to locke, ecko, desmond, and charlie.

time was off. Charlie was surprised that ecko and locke were not back before him. Locke and desmond wake up like a day later... hmmmm...

There is no plausible simple explanation for how they got out of the hatch alive. Something must have happened.

and finally, the side affects... charlie can't hear, locke can't speak, desmond has no clothes/ knows the future (what locke will say) could there have been some sort of time warp caused by the implosion that put desmond forward a bit but held locke back?...

a friend and i thought that this was kind of like hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil. Charlie couldn't hear, Desmond can "see" the future, and locke couldn't speak.

I think youre right about Desmond having the ace up his sleeve.

He could turn out to be the spoiler.

He could be the NEO (Matrix ref.) to beat the Others. The Messiah, if you will.

maybe its the way the electromagnetic radiation that i reckon would have emerged when the hatch imploded affected them. there isnt exact knowledge as to the effects on person who has been exposed to large ammounts of it which it would have been on locke desmond eko and charlie, but they were in the hatch when it happened whereas everyone else wasnt so the hatch imploding rather than exploding would explain why this was the case

Okay i TOTALLY agree to that, sounds very right. But why was Desmond naked? like.. Locke couldn't speak, Charlie couldn't hear, and Desmond was naked. does it kinda represent being born again? but already grown up and all.. i mean might sound stupid but as if he was reborn?
