The opening was very much like the pilot....
locke's eyes are green... were they always? and eddy's eye color kepy changing over the episode.. what does this mean? Jan and mike... look sooooo familiar. was that girl in the flashback Kate? The girl who locke said was "half his age" Charlie and claire... fine for a while????? NNOOOOO!!!! did the hatch survivors experience something strange immediately after it imploded? Desmond has no clothes and knew what jack said before it happened.... i hope it isn't but, time travel? Charlie couldn't hear well, locke couldn't speak... locke and desmond were gone way longer than charlie, and charlie was really surprised that they weren't back before him did locke actually speak to ecko? or was that a manifestation of eddy speaking through ecko like wayne did through sawyer? the return of locke the hunter!!i love that he is getting his faith back!! oh man, i missed the season 1 locke.

Some thoughts on Desmond...
I have always seen him as a God-figure, from the first time we met him in Jack's running flashback, and so far, nothing has disuaded me. 1. Long hair and beard 2. He calls everyone "Brother." 3. In Locke's vision, he was a pilot, another popular analogy (God is my co-pilot bumper stickers, etc.) 4. He was the only one who came out of the implosion naked. A rebirth/resurrection? I have two other "wacko" theories about Desmond. I don't really believe either of them. The first comes from me, and the second from a friend... 1. The electromagnetic field somehow cloned Desmond, which is why he was naked. Of course, this doesn't explain how he knew about Locke's speech. 2. No one except Hurley was seen interacting or even noticing Desmond. Was he even really there, or was he a vision like Dave? Wouldn't someone have offered him some pants? Again, this doesn't explain how Hurley would have predicted Locke's speech. Chrys |
