Charlies Reaction...
Hey Kats,
Im new here but have been dying to talk with somebody about Charlie and his character at the end. Don't you think he was acting a tad bit off? I mean, whats up with him? Does he know something that nobody else does? Im getting the feeling that hes up to something... I dunno. Any thoughts on his behavior? - MRM

what do u mean acting a tad off??? i didnt think there was anything strange about his behaviour.... however maybe he was worried about Locke eko and desmond, after all they are still in the hatch after the explosion, and then theres the noise and light after the button wasnt pushed and maybe charlie has realised thats because of what was going on in the hatch...

i have to agree with you here. There is something weird about charlie's character. he should have died/gotten in trouble/been injured so many times and escaped it.
In season 1, when the cave collapses on Jack and himself, Charlie just walks out but Jack is left pinned and injured. In "Numbers" Charlie manages to get across the bridge right before it falls. Charlie escapes dying somehow when being hung by his neck for a long period of time. In the pilot, the burning chunk of metal lands right behind him (ok, lol, that one is a bit of a stretch). In "fire and water" he doesn't even get yelled at for starting a fire which could have burned the whole island down. very curious. of course, it could very well just be an element of his character.

I agree with you Losty09 ... there is most certainly something up with his near death experiences. Obviously, each of the characters on the island have something supernatural or psychically in tune with each other or in their lives before the crash. Charlie has had more diverse stuff happen to him than any other character on the island. He has gone from drug user, to non drug user, to father figure, to vigilante. I have to say that he either knows something that the rest dont or he has something else to offer this season that will blow our minds.

yeah but Sawyers had near death experiences aswell, by rights he wouldnt av survived that shot, it was too long before they got him to a doctor. and then the wound should have got infected in that time when he was in the hole and then carried back to the losties camp, yet he didnt die he didnt even loose an arm for gods sake so you cant justr apply this to charlie as an excuse for his so called strange behaviour after he got out of the hatch which i didnt notice.
