What about the clip shown right after the credits? It was plane's tail section crashing into the water. Looked a lot like the the original tailies crash but I'm not sure.

Did anyone else see this?

Maybe the writers are planning to re-introduce the kidnapped survivors. If, like some people have said, the plane crashed for a reason and the passengers were all chosen, it's logical that the people who were kidnapped would all hold interesting stories as to why they were. But then the Desmond factor.

I would definately like to know what happened to Cindy.

There still might be other survivors all over the place.. the two halves of the plane were drastically separated ..plus, Jack's dad's coffin, and the underwater dead couple Kate and Sawyer found were not very close to either crash site either..

Yes, as it's such a huge island. Most of which they haven't explored, there could be a mini civilisation somewhere!
