Why doesn't Walt react to Kate jack and Sawyer being tied up on the dock? I can't beleve he doesn;t see them. There is something weird in his attitude.

I think after all he's been through all Walt can really think about is being re-united with his father.
I also think that the reason the Others have let Michael take Walt is because they found him and his abilities difficult to control and more than they can handle.

That is wierd that he didn't react to them being tied up. But he's had a quite different experience than they have for the last almost month. I bet with all his "abilities" he would be a handful for even the best trained doctors, etc with modern equipment--let alone some nut jobs on an island.

I think a part of it might be MDK acting as Walt, but the writers most likely didn't give him much to go on in regards to Walt's current state of mind. He could've been living off junk food and ice cream for the past few weeks, or he could've been tortured. For simplicity, I think they just gave Walt as minimal a role as possible here.

Yeah, I need to rewatch it. He didn't see anyone when the boat came up to the dock 'cos he was stuffed in the console (or whatever it's called), then all he could really see was his dad. But as they left, he didn't seem to react either. So I don't know if he didn't see, or if his mind was somewhere else.

Well, I don't think that Walt had much connection to Kate, Jack or Sawyer. If "Mr. Locke" was there, then maybe he would have been more upset. I agree that the Others probably let him go just because his powers are too strong for them to have to deal with.
