Call me cynical, but how could Desmond, Locke and Eko be dead when their characters are still to be fully explored.
The Des strand has only just opened, although it would be tragically romantic if Penny was chasing a now deceased love. There are still things to be told about Locke, and he just found out that his initial convictions about the button were probably right. Eko has shown him what unwavering faith is all about so now he might go back to the Island totemism that made him so entertainingly unhinged in Season 1. I think the Eko/Locke dynamic still has a role to play, if only for the development of Boxman. It doesn't make sense for the writers to kill them all off when we, the hungry public, are demanding more and more juicy titbits to feed our healthy obsession. Good theory about Mike, Sayid, Jin and the boat by the way pluto.

I sound like I want them to be dead, hehe, that is not true, but I'm just sticking to my theory

Magnets attract, yes that is true. But they also have oppesits that flies away from the magnet (maybe the q. door). WHen you soor K, S and Jack at the pier there was a light in the sky and a noise. That had something to do with the magnet. It did not have anything to do with an explosion. We never soor an explotion. If there was one, Charlie and the others on the beach would have felt it, and it would have started a fire. I don?t think there was an explosion. I think Desmond turned that key and the magnetism stopped.
I loved that HG seemed completly different. Man, I LOVE to hate that guy. I?m still convinced that Michael will return with Sayid to rescue K, S, and J. But what was with the Statue ??? Only the foot left???? And four toes???? Anybody have an idea??? |

As for Ana... who cares. Her story was pretty open and shut, the only thing we had to look forward to was "Hey! I knew your dad!" Which we will eventually get from Sawyer now that Jack and Sawyer are kind of friends ,because Sawyer already expects that it was Jacks Dad in the bar. |

Oh yeah, the foot. :) I'm not so much worrying about where the rest of the statue is, or why it only has four toes like Sayid said, but why is it on the shore of a tropical, relatively uninhabited island?
I'm with the theory the island's somehow in the Indian Ocean, and not the Pacific, but the relevance of that to anything I have no idea. |

At first I was thinking it had something to do with Atlantis, but then duh! , I realized they were in the Pacific Ocean. So now I'm wondering if there's going to be a similar mythos for this particular island--an alien race perhaps?
