Yeah, I think the writers did a good job in showing us Michael's POV on the whole deal. Walt 'breaking' his cover at their end of there meeting was really what made it.
I still don't see why he had to kill Ana and Libby, though :s

I don't blame Michael for his actions what so ever. Libby was just there at the wrong time and Michael had to kill someone to let Henry go, so I guess Ana was there and yeah, that is that.
I don't blame him. Everyone would do anything for their son's life.
