Ahh! That was so wierd! I guess it was a part of Lost, because it said "Welcome to Dharma" I typed in the password and letters started appearing on the screen, just like the computer in the hatch. Then after all the words were done, I saw an oraguatan that was really blury (it was moving, not just a picture), and the site went back to normal. This is what the screen looked like (hope this works):

Sorry it's small. I can't make it bigger!!!

If you go back & type in the password again, it will tell you if you have new messages or not. Keeping checking back.

Also, go to Joop's page. Type him a message & send it. You get a creepy symbol.

OMG, if you figure out this puzzle, you see a document!

I know! To figure out the "puzzle" or whatever it's supposed to be, click on the pair of circles that appear.

Wait about a minute, and, two at a time, circles with rings around them will appear. Click one and the other till you get to the one red circle.

After you read the document, click on the signature. A second document will appear. Click on that signature (after reading the letter) and the letter will get underlined and highlighted in two spots. (I don't know why.) Then click anywhere to get out.

I tried calling the number, but it's too busy. Guess I'll try later. Hope it's not as freaky as the site was!!!

There's another thread here with the Hanso phone numbers for different countries.

I was finally able to access The Hanso Foundation at school, since it wouldn't load at home. And I have just one thing....JOOP! I can sit here and just stare at the wobbling orangutan for ages..so amusing :)

"The Hanso Foundation, setting world speed records for subverting authority". What the hell is that supposed to mean??? Sounds to me like Hanso is saying that he(they) can get away with anything w/ no reprocussions b/c they're above the law, or their governing factors are corrupt, or something to that effect. The first document, dated 9/19/2005, is from the GWC to the CDC and is basically blaming Hanso's Life Extension Project for a deadly disease outbreak, and turning the case over to the CDC for a formal investigation. In the second letter to the CDC, dated just 6 days later, the GWC is all apologies to Hanso, saying they were waaay wrong about the connection between Hanso's experiments and the virus outbreak. The part that gets highlighted and underlined at the end is the part about how the GWC team (instead of the CDC) was welcomed "with open arms" by Hanso into the Zanzabar research facilities for inspection, and about the "close relationship" the GWC would like to keep w/ Hanso. Sounds like Hanso has either duped, brainwashed, or corrupted the GWC into covering up whatever illegal stuff they have going on at their research facilities, or the second letter was flat out faked (notice the signature at the bottom of the second letter is that of Peter Thompson, VP of the Hanso Foundation). Maybe Thompson is actually a legitimate member of the GWC, and uses his influence there to facilitate Hanso getting away with whatever they want to. The title underneath his signature on the second letter is "Acting" Director General of the GWC, suggesting that maybe he hastily appointed himself as the new Director General in the six days between the two letters in order to keep the CDC from investigating. Whew, that's a lot to think about; sorry to ramble on again.....

.....am I just overanalyzing the whole thing? Anybody???

BTW, do the "Joop" the monkey clips/pics creep anyone else waaay out, or is it just me?
I think that monkey is evil, like the one in Chris' closet on Family Guy only worse...

The Hanso commercial is pretty cool, so is the website. Lots of little bits of information I think. Here's what I've found so far:

http://islandoflost.com/index.php/topic,169.0.html

Check out the graphic showing the various foundation logos and full names underneath. There's no name for th DP logo. Dharma Project?

I'll be adding more to it as I explore the site. I"m sure there's several levels of clues burried on there. They've even posted a letter (dated for tomorrow so I assume somebody was taking off for the weekend early and decided to post it today! :D )

yea, i just went through all of it, i suppose that its gonna be updated wekkly and paralell the story. hopefully, the two will intertwine, but i find it cool how when you read the current projects, all of them in someway relate to the island, the surviovors, and their problems. that electromagnetic thing gives some clues about the hatch and that generator sayid and jack found.

also, if u stare at the joop (evil monkey) web cam long enough, you see the outhline of this guy's head. at first glance, it looked like hurley's skitsophranic (i know thats spelt wrong) imaginary friend.

and i unno, is persphone supposed to be someone working for the dharma or against it like alex rousseou is

cool stuff in the works

I was listening to the Hanso hotline for 5 minutes. I kept hearing an off-shore Korean project. Could Sun's father be invested to the Hanso foundation? He is an important man in South Korea & has the cash. Or could it be where 815 Crash? It is not hard for an Austrailian plane to get LOST to Korea.

BTW, the phone info is changed from what they had on Thursday.
